About the Authors
GERRY ALANGUILAN is a full time comic book writer and artist. While inking comic books for Marvel (currently Ultimate Avengers) and drawing for Boom! Studios, he also creates his own stories and comics here in the Philippines. Gerry wrote and drew "Wasted", "Timawa", "Humanis Rex!", "Johnny Balbona", and "Elmer". When asked what he's afraid of, Gerry answered, "I don't have a cellphone. I am scared of the strange messages they bring."
KAJO BALDISIMO is the co-creator and artist of the comic book series "Trese". He is also the comic book creator of the comic strip "NWA". Kajo has also done art for Dark Horse Comics and Gatlow Comics. He is afraid of not being able to get the latest Transformers toy when it comes out.
DAVID HONTIVEROS is a National Book Award-nominated and Palanca-winning writer, with three horror/dark fantasy novellas (under Visprint's Penumbra label) out in the market. His short fiction has appeared in such publications as Story Philippines, Philippine Graphic, and Chimera, while his articles and film reviews have been published in Philippine Graphic, the Manila Times, Mirror Magazine, and Manual.

As a highly impressionable child, he recalls, quite distinctly, being amazed by the decapitation scene in The Omen.
OLIVER M. PULUMBARIT wrote and drew the graphic novel "Lexy, Nance & Argus". He is a freelance writer, artist and couch potato who loves sharing his thoughts on stuff he watched, read, or listened to through entertainment articles and blog entries. He also writes about unrelated stuff like pesticides, real estate, and car care products for PR agencies. He loves Halloween, but leaves cosplaying to the professionals. He is creeped out by the popularity of stupid, bigoted politicians, as well as by unflushed toilets.
IAN STA. MARIA aka iantoy will draw for beer. He is the co-creator and artist of the graphic novel "Skyworld". What is he afraid of? He answered, "Dalhin mo na ako sa lahat ng rambol...'wag lang sa dilim."
BUDJETTE TAN is the co-creator and writer of the graphic novel "Trese". He is one of the founding members of Alamat Comics and also wrote the following comic book titles he has written are "Batch72", "The Flying Phantom", and "Payaso". He currently works in Harrison Communications, an advertising agency where he writes his comic book stories when the boss isn't looking. He claims to be not afraid of anything, but still sleeps with the light on.
